Prior to the August, 2016 “cookery” training provided by the POLO/OWWA in Macao,
A group of individuals underwent intensive trainings to become Certified TESDA-NCII Passers. Successful individuals who passed the Edibility Tests were given opportunities to share and put to practice their cooking skills by training other Filipinos who wish to learn or enhance their cooking skills and increase in their knowledge about culinary.

One of the successful passers was Ms. Soccoro Manduriaga who is an OFW from Macao.
Through the active assistance of POLO/OWWA, Macao, Ms. Manduriaga is now a certified trainer and chef. She now gives back by helping and sharing her skills in training other Filipinos in Macao.
